I became a mom at the age of 18. It was a shock to say the least. I thought I was well-informed, afterall, I had a mom (and a good one at that), so I had reason to believe I had simply soaked up all of her mommy-goodness. (Insert buzzer sound here.) We now have two children, and another set to arrive in 5-8 weeks via an unassisted childbirth (God willing!). Parenting is quite an experience. It's the hardest job I've ever had and doesn't pay the bills in the slightest, but is also the most rewarding career out there. I'm so grateful that I'm able to be a full-time mom, for there is no such thing as "part time" children. God has taught me so much in this parenting journey, and I've grown so much over the years. We all expect our children to grow, but we forget that we, as parents, will likely do just as much.

My husband and I are very blessed to have the wonderful relationship and children that we do, and look forward to expanding our family even further. It's chaos, but the best kind available!
